I would sign up for that deal right now. I really like the fit with Heyward. I think that he has shown that his skill level is back and a 3 year deal is about right. He is a team player who can really shoot and is a plus defender at either the 2 or 3 position.

Begley is saying that Indiana is actually Hayward’s preferred destination and he would probably go there if they could move Turner or Oladipo to create the cap space.

Read they want Aaron Holliday and TJ Warren. But don’t forget that Hayward is an unrestricted free agent. Wouldn’t matter who Boston wanted if Hayward had a different preferred destination. However he was born and raised in Indiana.
