What if you could trade 2011 #2 pick and $3 mil for iverson, would you do it?

No, because he'd still have to come off the bench. And we all know how much he likes coming off the bench...
Besides, he's in the twilght of his career. If he couldn't pick up the slack when the Pistons traded Chauncey Billups (stupid move, unless you're in Denver), he'll really stink it up here.

He can't be worse than Boohan. Duhon is having a worse year than jake delhomme. heck he might be having a worse year than Eric Mangina.

<< Why would AI have to come off the bench? >>
I recall saying something about "the twilight of his career"...
What team would be dumb enough to put him in the starting lineup when he lost more than a step over the last few seasons?

You think Iverson would make a good PG for our boys? I haven't seen him handle the ball since Larry Brown took it out of his hands eons ago. And let's stick to basketball, huh?

How about what if we could go back and draft Josh Howard or David West instead of Mike Sweetney the same year they were all drafted. How about what if we could go back and KEEP Camby and Nene and we would have had only to add Lebron and maybe Nash or Kidd would have signed for peanuts this past summer and we would be champs in two years or less having a lineup of Kidd, Howard, Lebron, West, Nene w/ Camby, Gallo, Chandler, Nate, Lee, Douglas on the bench.
Iverson is a cry-baby of the Marbury variety and as soon as we go on a KNICKS trademark losing streak we will have created another circus on our hands. No thanks.

I wouldn't give Curry a piece of lettuce for Iverson, who is a 6 foot tall version of Sly Williams.

The problem with a player who makes his living on audacity, quicks and a license to shoot is that eventually time and circumstance will leave him with just audacity. ; )
No.

last year I chirped that AI and marbury had near identical contracts and should be swapped for the benefit of everyone.
this year both are in lost bizarro world. AI could probably help though..a lot

I would trade Jeffries or Duhon plus 3 million for him. AI only makes about 3 million this year I think. No picks. Or I'd take AI and 3 million of expiring Memphis role players for either JJ or Duhon lol.
