I cannot express strongly enough how much I am against Spencer Dinwiddie. If I could forgive Austin Rivers I could certainly forgive Dinwiddie's past anti-Knicks commentary but paying him 50 million dollars on those knees? He's talented but he's no Malcolm Brogdon.
I get the Lowry-DeRozan approach. We need a PG and we need scoring and these two guys worked together for a long time so if you sign both you get their much needed talents plus their chemistry. BUT...does adding these guys make the Knicks better than Milwaukee, Philly or Brooklyn? I'd rather invest in youth than a guaranteed berth in the second round of the playoffs.

I'm hearing Wash is going to get Dinwiddie as part of Westbrook trade in a sign and trade.I wonder what is going on with Paul?

Alex Kennedy said the Nets don’t want either player so they wouldn’t get involved in this deal. I can see them getting involved however in a sign or trade elsewhere just to keep him away from the Knicks. Of course with the Knicks cap space they can just sign him outright, although as we’ve all said, it’s not something we want to see.

Bill I am in complete agreement. I don't want to spend our cap space unless it can make us a title contender. Let's let Obi, IQ and RJ have another year of development and let Grimes and McBride get their feet wet before we go all in for a free agent or splash trade. I think a target of 48 wins in a full season is realistic for this group.

We have a nice group what I'm worried is if we add a bad apple to the chemistry,it has to be right,I can see a Payne or TNT, Fournier as guys that might fit character wise.I'm leaning towards Dave thinking I want to see Luca and Deuce and IQ year two get time.Wait till Sexton's price comes down.I'm on fence with Oubre &DeRozan I can be talked into either way ,it is going to be interesting who we sign ,I want to steal TNT from Lebron.I saw this piece the warriors have for Ourbre and you have to root for the guy ,maybe Oubre is the ticket.

I sorta like the Lowry DeRozen approach. That just costs money. But i'd only want two year deals and I doubt either would go for that.

Gates that would be perfect unfortunately Pat The Rat has others ideas.I think Lowry will not accept a two year deal.I can see why we are after Turner because Mitch is part of big game hunting deal.
