I know the draft is a week away but little things are coming out on free agency and I want to report I'm warming up to getting Oubre jr,he could be another Randle type to be able to get MIP.He is young ,I wanted a better shooter to be honest but I thing with better shots it should improve.Here he is talking about us.What do you guys think about us signing him ,I do a Randle type deal . www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgYUk__VBLk |

I like Oubre a lot. He is a wildly athletic 2 way player whose 3 point shooting improved last season after a horrendous start. He’s just 25 and he fills a position of need with the Knicks. I feel confident the same system that dramatically improved the long range shooting of Randle, RJ and Rose will help Oubre.

I like Oubre, but cap space is precious and I don’t want to use 20 million a year on him. I’d give 30 million to Lowry for one year before I give 20 for multiple years of Oubre.

Again I have to ask this question. Does Lowry get the Knicks to the ECF? Signing Kyle, who reportedly wants the Lakers, just gets the Knicks maybe one playoff round further than this year. Maybe. Oubre ups the talent level while adding athleticism and youth. Of course I don’t sign him if other options like Sexton fall through. |

All about cost. Now I like Oubre. Bullock and Burks have to be the least athletic pair of wings in the league, Be nice to have a guy that can attack and go over people.

The Knicks desperately need more athleticism on their team. I think the Knicks should re-up Burks and trade for Oubre IF they can get Sexton. If they have to pay for a PG like Ball or Lowry there isn’t room for Oubre. I’ll have to reflect on 20 mil a year for Kelly. 😎 |

He so young and like Bill said can improve with our staff now that he should be more mature and focused,Sexton to me is another young guy,and we don't have to keep them if they don't work out I just wants a contract that is tradable.

How many free agents do we sign,alot want to come here .We also have a healthy list like Powell who is a great leader too and an unhealthy list like Dinwiddie.How long do we sign guys for and who for how much,these things are huge in planning to get a max guy in 22 or by trade.Do we need shooters or distrubutors who drive otherwise DeRozan 6.9 ass look nice in the drive and dish category.I would like to get one long term key piece free agent wise and that guy has to be liked by Thibs and he is and that is Powell a leader tough defender and three point shooter.I hear Bullock wants ten per bye bye it was nice.Powell has huge wingspan don't let his 6-3 size fool you he has some reach to defend at the three and two.

Sexton news is that he does piss off others players like he wants to get his.I take this news with a grain of salt as it could be jealous chatter.He is known to be an extremely hard work and he could just be an eccentric type ,I think it's worth a shot that he buys in to Thibs who has been known to coach up similar players who work their ass off. I would do Knox and future one or Knox and Obi if I get Isiah Jackson in draft which I love like I did Mitch coming out.
