What a game and finish. Monty Williams is doing a phenomenal job turning around that team. He believes and motivates the young players like most wouldn't have imagined.
He did that similarly when CP3 was younger on the Hornets when they first got to New Orleans before the name change to the Pelicans.
That alley oops play at the end is what I want us to run for Mitch and other big men when the game is on the line.
Usually you go for a quick shot that takes more than 3 seconds to get into. They don't call offensive goaltending on an inbounds play over the basket.
Why don't more teams run that play? Anyway these playoffs without Lebron and the Nets are fun.
What do you guys think about the remaining playoff games?

Teams generally try to take that play away by cheating off the far side. Play was an excellent pass, excellent pick, NOT Nerlens Noel trying to catch the ball, and a poor read from the player defending the inbound pass. Did hurt LA that they were stuck with two slow bigs.
i miss Lebron. As talented as he is, I hate watching trae young get middle school calls while PJ Tucker got to defend Durant like it was the nineties. Anecdote. Durant's mom pulls down mask and says to nearby PJ "this is basketball not football" Puts mask back on. PJ looks over and tells her "i love you" She pulls mask back down and says " i love you too" Now thats bball. And PJ and Durant hugged with respect after the series. F Trae Young. And speaking of chumps i hate a lot worse than Trae. that dildo beverley patrick. This asshat headbutts a player breaking his nose , then whines that HE got fouled. Forget Oakley & Mason. I need Jeff Ruland and Rick Mahorn. Bullets had a play where they would set a double screen and as the offensive player went through they would close it on the chasing defender "F*cking him up bad. Or one time a ref called dave Cowens for a charge against Mike Newlin. Cowens was furious. Next time he got the ball, I believe without even dribbling, he ran full speed through Newlin. Then told ref. "now that's a charge. beverley derserves that. Young dousnt deserve that but he NEEDS for the big to crush him a couple floaters as he makes the pass. OKAY enuff ranting.

I think Buden is very poor at in game adjustment and playing jeff teague is worse than playing Elfrid payton. I'd love to see Clips and Suns at full strength as both coaches are excellent. But this whole compressed season has been about health

He's a great lob threat and we have been on many plays where we are looking for a jump shot, and boom that play without the goaltending call has been there for Mitch all along. I can't disagree about Trae but again I don't feel as bad that the Hawks beat us now. They are doing it to other powerhouses in the East. And I don't miss Lebron. He can't be in every Finals. |

The only think I miss about Lebron is seeing how far his reseating hairline has gone.I do want to get tougher and signing Trent as a free agent will help doing that.I wonder how many blocks Mitch would of had versus the Hawks.I would of been sweet if we were the ones taking out the Nyets that is my only regret.
