Nelson gone and now Carlisle. Very curious where they go next. I just have a feeling Cuban is doing all this with Doncic blessing or else why would you let an elite coach resign? Also I get why Donnie Nelson would be gone because he's had more duds than studs since 1998, and you need to make better trades to surround Doncic with better talent. But man that job is a hard one and an easy one at the same time. An easy one because Doncic is a once in a generation superstar and the team on paper doesn't look bad. It's hard because Luka is a once in a generation star and he could easily leave if they don't get their shit together over there. |

I don't believe Carlisle resigned. My gut feeling is Luka wanted him gone and Cuban gave him a "way out", by saying Carlisle resigned. Luka, is a prima donna bitch to say the least.

I worship at the altar of Woj and he was on the radio this week giving some clarity, so I believe this is how it happened. According to Woj, Carlisle leaving had to do with Luka, but Luka wasn’t behind the move and didn’t want him out, although he certainly isn’t upset he left. Apparently Luka is a prima Donna, constantly yelling at Carlisle in front of the team and other coaches and embarrassing him by ignoring his plays as well, and Carlisle had had enough. Plus you had Luka and KP not getting along, and KP unhappy with his role. Carlisle is no angel either, and obviously has his eye on the Milwaukee job which should be available if they lose to the New Jersey Cripples tonight.

The real question is do we go after Luka when he is an UFA in the summer of 2023? I kinda liked a season without turmoil and drama and the chemistry of our team is one if it's great assets. Luka is a Top 5 talent but sadly he's also a Top 5 asshat. |
