No one is beating the Nets in the next 2-3 years, so let’s strategize accordingly. No one wins a championship w/o a superstar. Pistons only exception. We need to find one. Yiannis or AD are spectacular, but cannot win without ball handling shooting superstar. It’s not happening.

We have Randle while not superstar proved this year to be special.RJ needs to have a similiar improvement to his game like he had this year.Those two games comes close .I think we need Mitch back healthy that would help.I think if we sign Lowery,McDermont & Powell and draft well we should be getting very close without one of those superstars.

Injuries and age caught up with the Lakers this year and now it’s catching up to the Nets. I reject the notion that nobody is beating them the next few years. If that’s how you feel, then this year is a failure because we didn’t tank our way into another lottery.

I didn't say it was a failure, it was the first step in the right direction. The season doesn't fool me into thinking we are on our way up when our best player was Rose. I would have taken another year of good ball and a top 5 pick. Seeing we can't pick right, I guess you might be right. Dumb luck is what I'm looking for then. Randle might be just that.
